All of our extension services are customized to each of our guest's unique needs and are priced per consultation.

A stylists level is performance based and directly correlates with their years of experience servicing hand tied extensions, education & certifications gained practicing their craft. Based on your specific needs, while keeping your budget in mind, we will match you with the stylist best suited for you! Each member of our team is committed to their craft. THE PROCESS
APPLICATION
In filling out the online application, we are able to match you with the best extension expert for you! The application allows your extension stylist to gain a better understanding of your hair goals. In turn, we are able to provide you a more thorough estimate of your time and financial commitment. Within 24 hours of filling out your online application, we will reach out to you directly to schedule your complimentary consultation. This can be done in salon or virtually.
EXTENSION STYLIST LEVEL SYSTEM
J Michaels Salon has three levels of extension experts: Extension Stylist (new talent), Extension Specialist (intermediate) , & Lead Extension Stylist (advanced).
A stylists extension level is performance based and directly correlates with their years of experience servicing hand tied extensions, education & certifications gained practicing their craft. Please note, extension installation pricing varies based on level of stylist. Cost of hair is the same regardless of stylist level.
Based on your specific needs, while keeping your budget in mind, we will match you with the stylist best suited for you! If you have a level preference or were referred to a specific stylist, please select this while filling out your application.

CONSULTATION
The consultation is the most important part of your extension journey. Here, your extension stylist is able to get to know you & your hair goals, learn what concerns you have about your current hair & what you wish to improve, get up close and personal with your natural hair and confirm your wants, needs and desired outcome.
During the consultation, your stylist will educate you on the chosen hand tied extension method, color match your hair, advise the number of wefts & rows you will need to achieve your goal, and discuss a reasonable outcome.
DEPOSIT
Once you have decided to move forward with your installation appointment, following your stylists recommendations, a non refundable $500 deposit is required to schedule your appointment. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the appointment.
INSTALLATION APPOINTMENT
The day you've been waiting for! You'll leave the salon feeling confident & beautiful with your new head of hair.
We want you to feel the most comfortable with your new extensions, rest assured your stylist will educate you on all you need to know when it comes to the care & maintenance of your extensions, including washing, styling, and up keep!
MAINTENANCE
All methods of hair extensions require some type of scheduled maintenance and professional products to ensure quality. Your stylist will go over all recommendations to maintain the integrity and health of both your natural hair & the extension hair. After all, we want your investment to last! In the meantime, read what to expect below!
WHAT TO EXPECT
We thank you for taking an interest in hand tied extensions. Prior to your scheduled service, It is important that our guests have a full understanding of the initial extension service as stated below.
- While we work together in achieving your dream hair, most first time extension guests can expect to invest $800 - $3200.
- This investment covers Covet & Mane hair extensions, extension color for optimal results, installation, precision cut & blend, style, and product gift box.
- A non refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit holds your reservation and allows us to prepare your extension hair for install. Your deposit will be applied toward your service total on the day of your installation appointment.
- You agree that there is at-home care and maintenance that goes into this luxury service.
- Maintenance is required by your service provider at the salon every 8 -10 weeks. (Timing may vary based on your service provider's recommendations & will be discussed at time of consultation.) At this time your color will be refreshed and your rows will be moved up.
- Color pricing for your natural hair will be determined during consultation and could vary depending on desired results.
- Replacing extension hair becomes necessary with wear & is recommended to be replaced every 6-12 months or as needed based on recommendation of your stylist.
AT HOME CARE
We take great pride in offering the best we could get our hands on - Covet & Mane expertly crafted extension wefts. Following an at-home regime using the recommended products by your service provider is of the utmost importance in protecting your luxury hair investment. Using professional products paired with proper care techniques and guidelines will ensure the integrity and longevity of your Covet & Mane extension hair.
Each initial installation guest will leave the salon with a product gift box holding the necessities to care for your new hair. Included you will find: shampoo, conditioner, a heat protectant and soft bristle brush - all thanks to your stylist’s personalized recommendations.
Please note: A credit card on file is required to reserve a hair extension installation. Once you are ready to commit, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment. We require a minimum of at least 48 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling an extension appointment. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time or no-shows will be charged the full value of the service to the credit card on file.
